The amplifier is where the real tone lives. I mainly play classic Fender circuits that stay clean, open and dynamic. When the amp breathes properly, the guitar and pedals can shape the tone without losing clarity.
Tubes, Tone and Touch
All amplifiers in the rig are tube driven and selected for their ability to respond to touch and dynamics. The sound is kept as pure as possible, with the amp doing most of the work. When you dig in hard, the amp pushes back. When you ease off, it cleans up. That interaction is what gives blues its emotional weight.
Fender designs are the consistent choice — not because of brand loyalty, but because the spring reverb, the clean headroom and the natural breakup fit the sound that is being built. Every amplifier is chosen to serve the music, not to impress the backline.
